I would like to use silicone gel as a thickener in the oil phase, but even after blending it in, the oil phase doesn’t seem to thicken. What do you think?

The KSG series is a silicone gel formed by swelling silicone elastomer in an oil base. When incorporated into an oil phase, the KSG series does not increase the viscosity of the oil phase beyond that of the silicone gel itself. However, it imparts structural viscosity to the oil phase and stabilizes W/O emulsions.
