Alkyl Branched Type
This is a silicone with a polyether chain added. It has both hydrophobic and hydrophilic parts, so it can be used as a surfactant or powder dispersant.
The hydrophobic part of the alkyl branched type has a structure with alkyl branches on the silicone main chain, making it useful as a W/O emulsifier for emulsified preparations mainly containing ester oils and hydrocarbon oils.
