Linear Type
This is a silicone with a polyether chain added. It has both hydrophobic and hydrophilic parts, so it can be used as a surfactant or powder dispersant. The linear type, in which the silicone main chain is the hydrophobic part, is available in a lineup of products with various HLB values, and depending on the HLB, it acts as an O/W or W/O emulsifier.
