Silicone / Alkyl Branched Type
This is a silicone with a polyether chain added. It has both hydrophobic and hydrophilic parts, so it can be used as a surfactant or powder dispersant. The hydrophobic part of the silicone / alkyl branched type has a structure with two types of branches, silicone and alkyl, in the silicone main chain, and is useful as a W/O emulsifier for emulsified preparations in which silicone fluids and ester oils or hydrocarbon oils are mixed in the oil phase.
