What are Silanes ?
A series of silicone compounds consisting of alkoxysilanes with hydrocarbon groups. They can be used in a wide range of applications, such as imparting water repellency to the surface of inorganic base materials and improving dispersibility by surface treatment of various fillers. Shin-Etsu Silicone offers a wide range of products, including methoxy, ethoxy, and C10 silanes.
