Dengue Fever Prevention Project with Elementary School Children

On September 19, 2023, Shin-Etsu Silicones (Thailand) Limited held educational activities for children in lower grades at the elementary school of Wat Chak Luk Ya School to deepen children's understanding of dengue fever prevention.

With the slogan, "Dengue Fever Prevention Project with Elementary School Children," these educational activities were held jointly with Kao Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited and Ban Chang Hospital.

Elementary school children in first through third grade participated in these activities, and the children were taught of the importance of dengue fever prevention through a variety of recreational activities, as it is one of many infectious diseases spread by mosquitoes. Children were also taught through a performance by a character dressed as a mosquito under the guidance of dengue fever experts from Ban Chang Hospital.

At the end, we presented approximately 1,500 tubes of Mos Block Serum (a mosquito repellent produced by Kao Corporation) using our silicone fluid to participants from Wat Chak Luk Ya School and Ban Chang Hospital.
