Silicone gels and Silicone Powder possess a light-scattering effect (soft-focus benefit) due to their three-dimensional cross-linked structure. They blur wrinkles and pores, achieving a soft, natural finish.

Soft-Focus Benefit of Hybrid Silicone Powder (KSP Series)

The graph on the right shows the results of measuring transmittance and haze values after thinly coating samples made by mixing 10% of each KSP series into a silicone gels base (KSG-16) and exposing them to light.
The blue column represents total transmittance; higher values indicate greater sample transparency.
The green column represents the proportion of transmitted light that is scattered; higher values indicate better scattering efficiency and a stronger soft-focus benefit.
The KSP series exhibits extremely high light scattering effects because it contains three-dimensional crosslinked Silicone Rubber Powder internally and is further coated with silicone resin on the surface.
