Notification about the adoption of 2D Code Identification
We are taking to prevent mistakes in the shipping of products, Shin-Etsu will adopt the 2D (two-dimensional) Code technology for identification purposes on its silicone product labels and also on shipping tags.
Purpose of adopting the 2D Code
To strengthen measures to prevent mistakes in shipments by achieving more effective product control through the use of the 2D Code.
Products that will be covered by the 2D Code
For products with labels that have a one-dimensional bar code printed on them, a 2D code will be added.

Date of adoption of the 2D Code
Starting from December 10, 2007, it will be sequentially adopted.

2D Code is an advanced machine-readable code specifically designed to address the limitations of bar codes.
