Surfactants

We offer a wide range of surfactants and powder dispersants with varying structures and characteristics.
For products with silicone as the main chain, we provide two types: linear/branched and crosslinked.
Our hydrophilic groups also feature two types in our lineup: polyether and polyglycerin.
Selecting the appropriate type for your purpose further expands the possibilities in cosmetic development.
Additionally, we offer silicone acrylates-type dispersants with high powder dispersion performance.

Silicone emulsifiers(Straight-chain/Branched type):

Surfactants with linear/branched hydrophobic groups can control emulsion particle size and are suitable for preparing finer emulsions.
Our linear type emulsifiers feature products with various HLB values, functioning as O/W or W/O emulsifiers depending on the HLB difference.
Branched-type emulsifiers include those with silicone branches (KF-6028,KF-6104), and those with alkyl branches(KF-6048), and those with two types of branching: silicone and alkyl (KF-6038,KF-6105) . The optimal emulsifier can be selected based on the silicone fluids used.
Hydrophilic groups come in two types: polyether and polyglycerin. Polyether-modified silicone enables the preparation of finer emulsions, while Polyglycerin modified silicone offers high water retention and provides a soft, moisturized feel.
Additionally, as a product specialized for powder dispersants, Polyglycerin modified silicone (KF-6106, and KF-6115) and Silicone acrylates (KP-578).

Emulsifying silicone gels (crosslinked type):

Crosslinked emulsifying agents (emulsifying silicone gels) are three-dimensional crosslinked structures where silicone is crosslinked with hydrophilic groups. They swell in silicone fluids to form a gel.
Since the crosslinked structure possesses both hydrophobic and hydrophilic groups, it functions as a W/O emulsifier.
Using emulsifying silicone gels allows the formation of large-particle-size W/O emulsion. The crosslinking agent strengthens the interface of the emulsion particles, enabling the preparation of W/O creams containing a very large amount of aqueous phase in the internal phase. Furthermore, since the crosslinking agent swells in the silicone fluids and imparts structural viscosity, it is possible to obtain W/O cosmetic formulations with excellent stability.
The hydrophobic portion comes in three types: the standard type composed solely of silicone chains, the alkyl branched type with alkyl chains unrelated to crosslinking, and the silicone / alkyl branched type with both silicone and alkyl branches. Each swells in compatible silicone fluids.
The hydrophilic portion consists of two types: Polyether-modified and Polyglycerin modified. Being three-dimensionally crosslinked, they provide a non-sticky feel. Specifically,polyglycerin modified emulsifying silicone gels offer high water retention and a soft, moisturized feel.
