Acrylic silane coupling agent is a silane coupling agent with acrylic groups as functional groups.
It can be used as a resin modifier and surface treatment agent.
Use as an Acrylic Resin Modifier
Acrylic resin with hydrolyzable groups can be synthesized by copolymerization reaction with acrylic compounds. Since it has hydrolyzable groups, it can improve the adhesion to the base material.
Use of Inorganic Fillers as Surface Treatment Agents
By treating inorganic fillers (such as silica) with acryl silane, the inorganic fillers can be mixed with acrylic resin, and the silica and acrylic resin can be integrated by curing. The inorganic filler content provides acrylic resin with excellent mechanical strength.
