Methacrylic Silane
Methacrylate silane coupling agent is a silane coupling agent with methacrylate groups as functional groups. It can be used as a resin modifier and surface treatment agent.
Use as a Methacrylic Resin Modifier
Acrylic resin with hydrolyzable groups can be synthesized by copolymerization reaction with methacrylic compounds. Because of the hydrolyzable groups, the adhesion to the base material can be improved.
Use of Inorganic Fillers as Surface Treatment Agents
By treating inorganic fillers (such as silica) with methacrylate silane, the inorganic fillers can be mixed with acrylic resin, and the silica and acrylic resin can be integrated by curing. The inorganic filler can be used to produce acrylic resins with excellent mechanical strength.
