Mercaptosilane coupling agent is a silane coupling agent with mercapto groups as functional groups. It can be used as a resin modifier and adhesion aid.
Use as a Resin Modifier
By reacting with isocyanate groups in the resin, alkoxysilyl groups can be introduced into the resin.
Use as an Adhesion Aid
When added as an adhesion aid to resins (especially epoxy resins), it improves adhesion to substrates (especially rubber and metals).
