Silicone Fluids
Silicone fluids have low surface tension, which makes them spread easily on the skin, imparting a smooth feel and high water repellency. Shin-Etsu Silicone offers a lineup of silicone fluids with various viscosities and characteristics.
Dimethyl Silicone Fluids
This is the most representative type of silicone fluid. Shin-Etsu Silicone offers a wide range of silicone fluids, including volatile fluids and fluids with low, medium, and high viscosity.
Cyclopentasiloxane
This is a volatile cyclic dimethyl silicone fluid. It is highly purified and has a smooth, light feel.
Ethyl Methicone
This oil is made by replacing some of the methyl groups in dimethyl silicone fluids with ethyl groups. Volatile, high purity, and smooth, light feel. Excellent compatibility with various silicone fluids.
Dimethiconol
This silicone fluid has hydroxyl groups bonded to the ends of dimethyl silicone fluids. Gives hair and skin a smooth feel.
Amino modified silicones
This oil is made by replacing some of the methyl groups in dimethyl silicone fluids with amino groups. Amino groups have high adhesion to hair and skin, imparting smoothness and flexibility.
Methylphenyl Silicones
This oil is a dimethyl silicone fluid in which some of the methyl groups have been replaced by phenyl groups. High refractive index and gloss. Low viscosity oil is also highly compatible with other silicone fluids.
Powder Treatments
Silicone fluids with reactive groups for surface treatment to improve powder dispersibility. The linear type silicone has high water repellency, which helps makeup last longer. Branched silicone type and silicone acrylates show high dispersibility in various silicone fluids.
