Silicone Fluids
Silicone fluids can be used as an oil-based carrier. Due to their low surface tension, silicone fluids spread easily on the skin, providing a smooth feel and high water repellency.
Shin-Etsu Silicone offers a diverse product lineup, including volatile silicone fluids, dimethyl silicone fluids with low to high viscosity, amino modified silicones, and dissolved high-polymerization oils.
Volatile Silicone Fluids
This oil is extremely light and smooth, leaving no residue on the skin or hair. Its volatility varies depending on its molecular structure and molecular weight.（Dimethicone: Linear, Cyclopentasiloxane: Cyclic)
There are also oils with excellent compatibility with various oil agents that have ethyl groups in their side chains.（Ethyl methicone）
