Product Information

This silane coupling agent has a protected functional group, which makes it possible to mix with materials that were previously impossible to mix. Adhesion improvement can also be expected.

Application Data (Stability of Mixing with Isocyanate Compounds)

KBM-803 progresses the urethanation reaction with isocyanate compound, while X-12-1056ES does not progress the urethanation reaction due to the protection of mercapto group by silyl group, and has good mixing stability.

KBE-9103P reacts with isocyanate compounds by imine-enamine tautomerism, resulting in enamine structure.
X-12-1172ES has good mixing stability because it does not tautomerize.
