KM-9787 is a self-emulsifying silicone gum based on highly polymerized polysiloxanes.

Features

Disperses stably in water, non-polar solvents (toluene, xylene) and polar solvents (MEK, DMF, alcohol) without gel formation.
Because ionicity is nonionic, it can be used with cationic or anionic compounds.
It does not contain xylene or toluene.
It is used for synthetic leather to impart slipperiness and scratch resistance.

Applications

Additives for slipperiness and scratch resistance of synthetic leather and artificial leather.

Dispersion: After dispersing in a solvent, it precipitates over time, but it is redispersed by shaking.

Coating urethane resin containing silicone (1%) on synthetic leather.

Instructions for Use

Add to a synthetic resin such as urethane resin or acrylic resin to achieve a concentration of 0.2 to 10%. After dispersing in synthetic resin, coat on the surface of synthetic leather, or directly add into polymer of synthetic leather.
