SPD Series is manufactured by dispersing highly concentrated fine particles of titanium oxide or zinc oxide in volatile silicone oil.
We have a lineup of dispersions based on volatile silicone KF-96L-2cs.

These products are a highly concentrated dispersion
of fine particles, which enables cosmetic formulations
with a high UV blocking effect.

Features

• These products are a highly concentrated dispersion of fine particles of titanium oxide or zinc oxide, but is very low viscosity and easy to handle.
• It has excellent dispersion stability.
• By adding SPD series, it is easier to make cosmetic formulation with higher UV blocking.
• It can make a smooth, non-sticky preparation.

Applications

• Sunscreen lotions, liquid foundations, etc.

Transmissivity

*Test condition: SPD 30% formulation was applied
to a thickness of 5 µm and measured.
